Amazon launches “Q”, its new Artificial Intelligence chatbot for companies
The e-commerce giant has launched its response to existing artificial intelligence systems with a challenging move against giants such as OpenAI and Microsoft. Amazon has presented its own chatbot, nicknamed “Amazon Q”, as part of a project designed to compete in the field of artificial intelligence applied exclusively to companies.
According to the reports, Amazon Q will be an AI assistant that will be integrated into different Amazon Web Service (AWS) services, taking advantage of Amazon's data and technological infrastructure. This strategic step indicates the company's determination to enter the enterprise artificial intelligence arena and challenge pre-established players in the market.
The Amazon Q proposal is intended to have a significant impact in various sectors, from the extraction and comparison of documents to the writing of articles or texts according to the prompts entered. In addition, the chatbot will be able to connect to more than 40 business systems to help developers and workers with their tasks, having special relevance in the customer service sector.
This announcement comes at a time when artificial intelligence has become an integral component of numerous business applications, and companies are looking for advanced solutions to improve efficiency and interaction with their customers. The service, which has an initial price of 20 dollars per month, is positioned in the market as a less expensive service than Microsoft's chatbot service for companies.
